Yeah, so I sort of just stopped writing.
There wasn't any one thing, but a combination: it's boring, it's one-way, and I have other things I want to do.
I “tweet” using twitter. These are short, under 140 character, bursts of either stupidity or insight, or infrequently very inside-baseball quips which I only expect a few people to get.
I did write here, occasionally:

- my endorsement endorsement/vote for Barack Obama
Plus a couple of I'm sorry I haven't posted lately
posts which I don't think warrant linking here.
I'm just kind of tired…of sharing. This is very one way and while I don't exactly thrive on interpersonal contact, some feedback helps. Email, comments, tweets, whatever.
So, my only promise for 2009 is that I'll continue posting pictures of the dogs on a periodic basis. If I have something of true import to the world at large I might post it here, but may well just tweet it.
I'm not even going to review 2008 much: I traveled a bit, my luggage got lost, sort-of vacationed in Provincetown, one of my grandmothers died in Chicago, I spent Thanksgiving in London.
For 2009 I plan to: travel less often, take more pictures of dogs, and lose weight.
