On the beach 2008-04-05

I took far too many photos of the dogs romping at Atlantic Avenue Beach in Amagansett this afternoon.

The game (there's always a game, I just don't necessarily understand the rules) was that I would throw a bumper out into the water. Frisket would retrieve it (she never retrieves at home!). As she got to the dry part of the sand, Sailor would swoop in and take the bumper. Both dogs would then approach me (usually in a line resembling a french curve). I'd offer each a treat and then throw the bumper back out into the water.

We played this game until my shoulder started to ache. We then spent half an hour just vegging on the beach watching the ocean flow in and out. Click the image to play the video.
