Lotus Mobile Connect

I am aware that there are at least two or more IBM employees who peruse this feed, so I'm sending this out to the innertubes: WTF is up with Lotus Mobile Connect that when installed on a perfectly good Mac OS X installation kills the networking component? A guest of Frisket's installed Lotus Mobile Connect on our Mac Mini because it was not working on the guest's Stinkpad. Before the install: the Mac had a sweet 54Mbs wifi connection. After the install (and required reboot): 1Mbs, trickling in, lots of connections in SYN state (not even SYN-ACK). So, whassup? I am hoping that removing LMC restores the networking capability (but given how hosed my Stinkpad became after removing a bunch of Iomega crapware, I'm not holding out too much hope).

BTW, my Stinkpad is still mostly dead. I ended up reinstalling Windows XP so it can boot and I can get my data off, but the prior Windows installation is completely hosed.

Dunno what happened to you -- I use LMC on my MacBookPro with no problems. That's how I'm connected at the moment, in fact. I haven't tried it on a non-Intel box, though -- I like having my Mac mini be competely unable to talk to work.
