Just wanted to point local NYC people to an upcoming NextNY event on the 17th of September 2007: nextSports: A community conversation: about the ways in which digital media is changing the business and experience of sports. We will discuss what has changed and what will change in Sports as a result of innovation, distribution channels, enhanced access, and online communication. Community conversations are informal seminars coordinated by nextNY members, past sessions have covered advertising, startups, business development, volunteerism. Registration is open to anyone, there is a limit of 50 people at this session.
