Not going to Boston
Brooklyn, NY 2007-05-03T14:31:16Z
Lisa's father passed away last night. She is en route to DC to make arrangements with her brother. The dogs and I will be heading to DC this morning (Frisket is unfortunately sick so they can't stay behind). Lisa and Oliver will sit shiva (שבעה) Sunday at Oliver's apartment in NYC.

This might be beyond gauche to express condolences here, rather than more personally, but I just noticed the news in this entry and while I'm seeing your updates in the blogosphere, we're not currently in e-mail touch, and so I wanted to say that I'm sorry for Lisa's and your loss. My dad died when I was 17 and the loss doesn't dull over time...and I had forgotten that you had lost both parents already, when also younger. Well, now we're all part of a club of which no one would prefer to be a member.
