KMC Update

Not much change today. There was a bit of a setback in the morning when her O2 level dropped into the 20s for awhile (normal is 85+, good is 90+). I spent about 90 minutes with her midday, and another hour this evening.

One positive thing is that she was negative for influenza, so we don't need to wear gloves and facemasks when we visit her.

Otherwise, slow progress is all we're looking for or expecting.

Just curious ... but why are the dates on http://epcostello.net/ in DD/MM/YYYY format? Are you turning British on us?!?

Paul added:

Sorry to hear about your Mom. If I were religious I'd say a prayer for y'all, instead I'll take a moment and send some positive vibes.

I blame the brits and ozzies for the dates, I've been writing them that way in my notebooks for the past couple of years and it carried through to the site.

Thanks for the vibes.

I'm with Paul, I'm not the most religious individual. But since I now live back in George Bush country, by law I'm expected to pray whether I like it or not, so I wanted you to know that I really am thinking about you, your family, and most specifically, your mom, and am wishing her a full and speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, you'll be glad to know that Santa brought me a new girlfriend. I know, I probably don't deserve her, as I was really bad in 2003, but he let it slide. No, she's not blind, deaf or dumb...in fact, I've known her forever -- we used to deliver Girl Scout cookies together when we were 5 (And no, I didn't wear a cute little Girl Scout outfit).

However, it took us this long for our paths to intersect again with all the stars and planets aligned. It's all very mystical, and all very cool, and I hope we will get to come visit you all in NYC soon so you can meet her.

Meanwhile, please be safe, be well, get some rest, and know that your friends everywhere are thinking of and there with you and your family in spirit.

Love,

Turbo
