cmuSKY: realtime visualization of wifi users at CMU

I could have used WiFi when I was at CMU (instead I worked out of a pit of a grad student office in Baker 168). cmuSKY: A Wireless Andrew System is a graphical near-realtime presentation of CMU's wifi users and access points. It's just the main academic campus, none of the dorms are shown, nor the Mellon Institute.

Gone with the wind

So, about a half hour ago, the scaffolding put up after this incident decided to part ways with the building it was protecting. It's amazing how loud a girder flying through the air into the street can sound when you're directly across the street. The FDNY is out now taking apart the scaffolding, at least the parts that are still hanging on and not blown down Hicks.
