Welcome to the Soviet Union

So, CBS developed a mini-series on Ronald Reagan. Said series doesn't kow-tow to the Republican Party Line about the legacy of Reagan. In what to me is a remarkable cave-in, CBS allegedly will bow to the GOP and not show the mini-series, perhaps shunting it off to Showtime. I'm not commenting on whether Reagan was good or bad, I'm just stunned that we are now at a point where the political party in power can control the media.
