Now That Ringing Cellphone May Be a Telemarketer's Call

Ugh. In Now That Ringing Cellphone May Be a Telemarketer's Call, the NY Times reports that telemarketers are now intentionally calling cell phone numbers. I've received a couple of telemarketing calls on my cellphone and always stop them in their tracks with "this is my personal cell phone, goodbye" (more or less). If the US mobile phone system were like the European or Australian systems, this would be less likely to occur since the caller pays at all times. In the US, the mobile phone user pays for the call, no matter who's calling.
