Ooh joy...the WEF is in town. Frankly, I'd be perfectly happy if all of the bozos coming to attend or protest would just leave us alone. Update @ {now}: it appears that so far the police and protesters are keeping a lid on confrontations. The grey weather is probably helping to tame things. @ 11:25:25 PM

Tonight I left work early to do some writing at home (I find it hard to write anything more profound than the basic email in the office). Conveniently, this also gave me some time to install additional memory into my laptop. Have to admit, Win2k and "Radio Userland" run much better with 384Mb of memory than with 128! @ 8:03:43 PM

Last night, Lisa and I caught Down From the Mountain... the tour of Folk/Bluegrass/country music from the movie O Brother Where art Thou?. The music was excellent, made even better by the acoustics of Radio City Music Hall. Unfortunately the concert started quite late (my guess is about 8:45 PM) so it didn't end until 11:00 PM and even then appeared to be abbreviated by a couple of songs. @ 6:54:53 PM
