Argh....over the weekend I broke

Argh....over the weekend I broke down and installed MS IE6 as well as cygwin. The only thing I initially noticed about IE6 was that it felt slower than the 5.5 load it had replaced. I'd had cygwin installed on my other laptop so didn't (and don't) expect any problems with it.

That is...until I tried firing up "Radio Userland" tonight. Radio.exe just kind of runs for awhile but never really starts. Logging in as Administrator I was able to get Radio running, however iexplore.exe is crashing left and right. There can't be a bad interplay between MS and another application, right? Of course notttttttttttt. Argh.

Prior to this educational experience, I played with ThumbsPlus! to create a mini-site of images of our new house. ThumbsPlus! is an image management tool, designed for managing large numbers (I'd guess 1000s) of images. I initially learned about it through someone at Different Productions who uses it to manage images for his website. After playing with it a bit I managed to get the HTML template I wanted and the image sizes down to fit on my Earthlink site.
